Puppies go home at 8 weeks of age and we do prefer that you pick up your puppy at that time.

3) We can meet at the airport in Virginia.
Did you know your puppy can fly with you in the cabin of an airline. You must add the puppy to your ticket at the time you purchase your ticket. It usually costs an additional $125 -150. This is a very safe way to bring your puppy home and the puppy has very little stress with this method of travel. The best airport for this is RIC (Richmond International Airport). I charge $100 (Mon - Thurs) to transport your puppy to Richmond Int'l Airport (RIC). Reagan International Airport DCA is a bit further away because of traffic. I may be able to go to this airport. But the cost is more and I can only travel on certain days and time.

Here is a quick way to estimate the cost of a ticket to Virginia ...and also get the best price
Go to Orbitz and do a search on the cost of a round trip ticket cost from your airport to RIC on the approximate date your puppy turns 8 weeks.
You would want to arrive at the airport between 9 am and 12 noon and book your Return Flight about 2 -3 hours after that. (to allow for delays and getting your puppy)
Keep in mind that Tuesdays and Wednesdays tend to be the cheapest airline flight days.
It is recommended that you buy your ticket at least 21 days before your flight for the BEST PRICE. That would be when your puppy is about 4 weeks old.
Once you know the cost of your ticket, be sure to add the cost of the Puppies ticket (check with airline) to add your puppy on your ticket.. Also add the airport travel fee. Finally add the cost of your puppy and you will know how much money to budget.
Please discuss with me the date and time you wish me to meet you at the airport before you buy your ticket! I have to be sure it fits in with my schedule.
Do I ship Puppies by Cargo?
No. I do not ship puppies by Cargo.
Let me know if you have any questions and be sure to let me know that you need me to meet you at the airport when you reserve your puppy.
